Service fee

What the service takes, and only from profit.

ApeSync charges one thing: a share of profit. Each sell that makes money pays your workspace's rate on that sell's own profit, right after it lands. A sell at a loss, or at zero, pays nothing. There is no fee for deposits, withdrawals, wallets or Dry run.

Only profit pays. A sell in profit pays your workspace's rate on that sell's own profit, right after it lands; a sell at a loss pays nothing, and nothing carries over to the next sell.

How a sell is charged

Every sell is judged on its own. Take a buy of 1.00 SOL that you later sell for 1.80 SOL: the profit is 0.80 SOL. At an example rate of 15%, the fee is 0.12 SOL and you keep 1.68 SOL of the proceeds.

  • Partial sells count. Sell half a position at a profit and that half pays on its own profit; the other half pays when it's sold.
  • Losses pay nothing, and nothing carries over: a loss on one sell doesn't reduce the fee on the next, and a fee paid on a winning sell isn't refunded if the rest of the position later loses.
  • Dry run is never charged. Simulated sells pay nothing.

A position sold in two parts

Here is a 1.00 SOL buy sold in two halves, again at the 15% example rate:

SellProceedsCost of that partProfitFee
50% by take profit0.900.500.400.06
The rest by stop loss0.400.50none0

The position made 0.30 SOL overall and paid 0.06 SOL: the first sell paid on its own profit, and the loss on the second didn't pay or take anything back.

What counts

Pays on profit
  • Coins bought through ApeSync: snipes, copies, buys from Positions and Swap.
  • Those coins sold in another app.
  • Those coins sent out of the workspace: counted as sold at market price.
Never pays
  • Coins bought in another app and sent in.
  • Moves between the workspace's own wallets.
  • Deposits, withdrawals and anything in Dry run.

If you add to an ApeSync coin with a buy made elsewhere, only the part ApeSync bought pays on its profit.

How it's collected

The fee is taken in SOL from the wallets that sold, as soon as the sell lands. If those wallets don't have the SOL at that moment, the fee becomes Owed and is taken from any wallet of the workspace that has SOL. A withdrawal pays any owed fee first.

The Service fee page

Under Monitor in the sidebar, Service fee shows Rate, Paid and Realized PnL side by side, a short How the fee works card, and the ledger: Every live sell and its fee.

WhatSell · Sold elsewhere · Sent out
A sell by the engine, a sale of an ApeSync coin in another app, or tokens sent out of the workspace.
Profit · Fee
The profit of that one sell, and the fee on it.
StatusNo fee · Paid · Part paid · Owed · Waived
Whether the fee was due and how much of it has been paid. A sell without profit reads No fee.
Transfer
The transaction that paid the fee.

The Overview has a small Service fee card with the rate, Paid so far and Owed. History shows the fee on every sell row and the total paid next to Realized PnL; see History and launches.

Network costs

Apart from the service fee, every transaction pays Solana's own costs: the priority fee and tip you choose under Speed, a fixed 0.001 SOL to the sending service, and rent for new token accounts. Those go to the network and its services, not to ApeSync. In Dry run nothing is sent, so nothing is paid. The sizes are on Snipe.
