This page walks through a first hour with ApeSync: from an account to a workspace whose wallets buy your team's next launch for real. You will set everything up in Dry run, watch the engine simulate a snipe on mainnet, and switch to Live only when the simulated results look right.
- 1Create the workspace
- 2Generate wallets
Get access
Anyone can sign up, but ApeSync itself is turned on per account by an admin. Until that happens, /start shows You're on the list. Once you have access, /start takes you straight to ApeSync if it's your only product, or offers both products if you also use Apache.
If someone has already invited you to their workspace, you don't need to create one: the invitation waits in your workspace menu and on the /apesync/new page. Join it and skip to the parts of this page you still need.
Create the workspace
With no workspace yet, /apesync opens Set up your desk. Give the workspace a name of up to 40 characters, for example Alpha desk, and create it. The web address comes from the name and can be changed later in the workspace settings.
A new workspace starts in Dry run with Buying off, so it can't spend anything. It has no wallets, devs or leaders yet, its settings start at the engine's defaults, and market numbers like limits and market caps are shown in US dollars. If the engine can't be reached at that moment, you'll see a message asking you to try again in a minute.
Generate and fund wallets
- Generate a few buy wallets
Open Wallets and press Generate wallets. How many starts at 3 and goes up to 50 at a time; a workspace holds up to 100. A Name prefix gives them names like Wallet 01, Wallet 02. Already have a wallet you want to use? Import wallet takes its private key.
- Send SOL to them
Copy enabled addresses copies every enabled wallet's address. Send SOL from anywhere, for example from your Apache wallets. Each wallet needs its buy amount plus about 0.01 SOL for fees.
- Wait for Ready
The State column flips from Needs SOL to Ready as balances arrive. Only Ready wallets take part in a snipe; the others are skipped.
Each wallet buys on its own, so the number of wallets times the amount per wallet is what one launch costs. The Spent per launch figure on the Wallets page does that sum for you. More on all of this in Wallets.
Follow a dev and set the buy
- Add the dev wallet
On Snipe, under Dev wallets to follow, paste the wallet your team launches coins from into Dev wallet address, give it a name if you like, and press Follow. It joins the table, where its Following switch should read On; the same switch pauses it later without losing it.
- Choose how much each wallet buys
Amount per wallet is the SOL each enabled wallet spends on every launch, up to 50. The form shows what that comes to per launch. Check the value the workspace started with before you rely on it.
- Pick a speed and a safety net
Speed sets the priority fee and tip on every buy: Normal, Aggressive, Max or Custom. The priority fee is what moves you up inside the launch block. Set a Snipe limit too: after that many launches the engine stops buying until you reset the counter.
- Save
Press Save changes. The engine uses the new settings from the next launch or sell, with no restart.
While you're there, open Sell rules and decide how positions should exit: a take profit step, a stop loss and a trailing stop are a common start. A snipe with no exit plan only ends when you sell by hand. See Sell rules.
Practise in Dry run
Leave Money on Dry run and set Buying to On. The status reads Dry run · buying: from now on every launch from your dev and every copy buy is detected, built and simulated on mainnet, with real prices and real data, and nothing is sent.
- Launches lists every coin your dev created and whether the engine would have bought it. A skipped launch shows its exact reason.
- History shows each snipe as Simulated buy of with one line per wallet.
- Positions shows the simulated positions moving with the market, and your sell rules firing on them, simulated too.
Want evidence before even that? The Lab replays your settings on your dev's past launches and shows what they would have made. See Lab.
Go Live
When the simulated snipes and exits look right, switch Money to Live. The panel asks Switch to real money?, and you type LIVE and press Use real money. If Buying is already on, the very next launch is bought with real SOL.
If you go Live with Buying off first, the state reads Live, not buying. Turning Buying on then shows Buy with real money? with a summary: how many devs you follow, how many wallets are enabled and what they spend, how many snipes are left before the limit, and whether copy buys are on. Press Turn buying on to start.
To stop, set Buying to Off: nothing new is bought and open positions keep being managed. To stop sending anything real at all, switch back to Dry run. Both take one click.
