An exit plan is a set of sell rules that fire on their own: take profits in steps, cut a loss, follow the top with a trailing stop, react to a whale or a dump, to the curve or to the clock. The rules run on the server, so they keep watching with the tab closed and your laptop asleep. Each rule fires once, sells only, and goes through the same engine as a Sell click in the trade box.
Where you set it up
On a live coin, the panel's Exit plan card (Set up, later Edit) opens the editor, Exit plan for $X. Before the launch, the setup's sixth step Exit plan opens the same editor, and so does Set up the exit plan on a ready coin's panel. Rules made before the launch are saved with the coin and armed the moment it's created.
The editor has three parts: the rules of this plan in the middle, Add a rule with every kind, and on the side the Presets, the plans Saved by your team and Copy from a coin.
Rule kinds
Kinds come in three groups. In Price, a multiple is measured on cost: what the rule's wallets got back plus what they still hold at the price, over what they paid. 2 means doubled, 0.6 means down 40%.
- Take profitMarket cap or Multiple
- Sells when the market cap reaches a level (in USD or SOL, set by Unit) or the position reaches a multiple of its cost.
- Stop lossMarket cap or Loss on cost
- Sells when the market cap falls to a level, or the position is down by Loss, % on what the wallets paid.
- Trailing stopDrop, %
- Follows the highest price since the rule armed and sells when the coin falls this far off it. A spike between two checks still counts as the peak.
- PnLabove or below, SOL
- The coin's PnL for the whole workspace, fees and tips included.
Other people's trades watch wallets outside the workspace, so your own trades never set them off. Whale and dump sizes count from the moment the rule armed.
- Whale buySOL in one trade
- An outside wallet buys at least this much in one go: sell into the pump.
- Big sellSOL in one trade
- An outside wallet sells at least this much in one go: get out before the rest follow.
- Buyerscount
- This many outside wallets have bought the coin.
- Momentum fadeBuys · Seconds
- Fewer outside buys than this within the window. It watches a whole window first, and never reads a stalled feed as a dead market.
Curve and time:
- Curve progressCurve sold, %
- How much of the bonding curve is sold. A coin that already moved to PumpSwap counts as 100%.
- Migration
- Sells when the curve completes and the coin starts trading on PumpSwap.
- Time limitMinutes
- Sells this long after the coin was created, whatever the price.
- 1sBuy0.424hTq…9xQe
Outside means wallets that aren't the workspace's, so your own sells never trip a Big sell rule.
What a rule sells
Every rule has the same four settings under its trigger:
- Sell, %
- A share of each wallet's tokens, read when its transaction is built. A ladder is several take profits, each selling a share of what's left: 33% at 2x and then 50% at 3x leaves a third of the bag.
- WalletsAll · Bundle · Start buyers · Dev · Pick
- Which wallets of the coin it sells. Pick opens a list to tick them one by one, including other wallets that traded it.
- SpeedNormal · Fast exit
- The transaction settings it sells with (below).
Your trade box's slippage, priority fee and tip. New take profit, PnL, time, curve, migration, whale and buyers rules start here.
Panic sell's settings, 40% slippage, 0.002 SOL priority and a 0.001 SOL tip by default. New stop loss, trailing stop, big sell and momentum fade rules start here.
The settings are copied into the rule when you save it. If yours have changed since, the rule says it was Saved with other settings than yours now.
Presets
One click loads a whole plan; + adds it to the rules you already have. The built in four:
- Ladder out
- A third at 2x, half the rest at 3x, all at 5x; out at −50%.
- Tight risk
- Out on −30%, a 25% drop off the peak, or a 2 SOL dump.
- Bundle guard
- Half into a 3 SOL whale; all out on a 1 SOL dump, a dead minute or after 30 min.
- Ride the curve
- Half at 80% of the curve, the rest on PumpSwap; a 40% trailing stop under it.
- Save this plan as a preset keeps it under Saved by your team for every coin of the workspace, up to 50. Saving under an existing name of yours updates it. Its author or an owner or admin can delete it.
- Picked wallets don't travel: in a preset or a copied plan, a rule that sold picked wallets sells every wallet of the next coin.
- Copy from a coin lists the other coins with rules and loads one's plan into this one.
Arming
On a live coin, Arm N rules starts them watching. A rule that already holds right now is refused (Holds right now: it would sell at once, so arming refuses it.): that's a Sell click, not a rule.
In the setup the button reads Save plan. Those rules wait for the launch and arm once the creation confirms and the coin has its first trade. The editor flags one that already holds at the expected opening (Holds at the expected opening: it won't be armed at the launch.); if one still holds when the coin is created, it's skipped instead of selling your opening.
Watching and firing
The card lists armed rules closest to firing first, with a bar for how near each is, and the market cap levels show as lines on the chart. A rule can wait with Waits for the SOL price (a USD level while the price is unknown) or Waits for trades. Cancel this rule stops one.
The first time a rule holds, it places an ordinary sell order for the wallets in its scope that hold the coin at that moment, and turns Fired. The rule and its order are written together, so it can't fire twice or fire without selling. Everyone on the coin gets a toast like Take profit fired: ≥ 2x on cost, and the team feed records who armed, cancelled and fired what.
- Fired
- It sold: its order is in the Orders tab.
- Nothing to sell
- It held, but no wallet in its scope held the coin.
- Skipped
- An exit plan rule that already held when the coin was created.
- Cancelled
- Someone cancelled it; the card says who.
