This is a realistic first hour: an account, access, a workspace, SOL in the main wallet, a funding wallet, a folder of buyers with SOL in them, and what comes before the first launch. Nothing here is hard, but the order matters, because SOL flows one way through the wallet kinds: main, then funding, then devs and buyers.
Create your account
Open Create account and pick a Username (3 to 20 letters, numbers or underscores; it's how your team sees you), your Email and a Password of at least 8 characters.
- Confirm the email code
We send a 6 digit code. Type it into Code from the email and press Confirm email. The code works for 10 minutes; Send a new code gets another after a short wait. Until the email is confirmed the account can't sign in.
- Sign in from then on
Use Email or username and your password. Once you turn on two factor checks, the sign in also asks for a Code from your authenticator app, or a backup code if you lost the phone.
Access is by approval
Anyone can create an account, but Apache is opened account by account during the beta. Until an admin turns it on for you, /start shows You're on the list. with a Check again button. If a team has already invited you, the invitation shows there too, and you can join once your access is on.
With access to Apache only, signing in takes you straight in. If you also have the other product, ApeSync, /start asks Where to? and you pick Apache, the launch terminal. Later you can change product from the account menu with Switch product.
Create the workspace
The first visit opens Set up your workspace. In Create your first workspace, give it a Name of up to 40 characters, for a team, a client or a launch, and press Create workspace. It gets its own address, like /app/team-a, and you become its owner.
A workspace starts with exactly one wallet: its main wallet, created with it. Everything else (more wallets, folders, jobs, coins) belongs to the workspace too, and teammates you invite see all of it. The header's workspace switcher has New workspace when you need another one.
If you were invited instead, the invitation waits on this page and in the workspace menu: press Join and you are in, with the role you were given. Inviting your own team is covered in Workspaces and roles.
Put SOL in
- Deposit into main
Open All wallets in the main menu. The main wallet runs across the top: press Deposit for its address and a QR code, and send SOL to it from an exchange or another wallet. Only SOL and USDC on the Solana network show up; other tokens and other networks don't.
- Create a funding wallet
In the wallets sidebar, the Funding section shows Add a funding wallet while there are none, and a + in its header after that. One click makes it. A workspace can have up to 200.
- Send SOL to funding
On the main wallet press Send to funding (or Top up from main on the funding wallet). Pick the amount, keep the route on Direct, and confirm. A direct transfer between your own wallets goes at once.
Why not fund buyers from main directly? You can, since main is a treasury wallet too, but keeping launch money in funding wallets leaves the main wallet as a clean deposit and withdrawal point, and lets you split budgets per launch.
Make buyers and fund them
- Make a folder
In the sidebar's Buyers section, press New folder and name it, say
launch-01. Folders keep buyers per launch and can nest. - Generate buyers in it
Open the folder and press Generate. Set How many (up to 500 at a time) and a Name prefix: the default makes
Buyer 001,Buyer 002and so on. Already have wallets? Import next to it takes private keys; see Import and export keys. - Fund the folder
Press Fund in the folder's header, pick your funding wallet in From, choose an amount per wallet, then Review and Start. The job runs on the server: 20 wallets per direct transaction, so 100 wallets take five.
- How many to fundper launch
- Only the wallets that will buy. Each needs its buy size plus network fees, the token account's rent and the 1.5% platform fee, so fund a little above what it will spend.
- Which routeDirect · Relay · Private
- Direct is fastest and cheapest, and anyone can see the wallets share a source. Relay hides that link for a fee per hop. See Routes: direct, relay, exchange.
Before the first launch
- Warm up, if you want history. Fresh wallets have none. Warmup in the folder header makes each wallet trade a little on fresh pump.fun tokens for 1 to 3 hours, then sends what the run added back. See Warmup.
- Make a dev wallet. The dev wallet creates the coin and makes the dev buy. Press + in the sidebar's Devs section, then Top up on it, which sends from your first funding wallet. The launch setup can also make one for you.
- Set up the coin. Launch coin at the top of the main menu opens the setup; its funding step shows which wallets are short and tops them up in one review. See Launch setup.
